Vasif Akifli currently serves as the Head of the Public Relations and Information Department at the Loqos Psychological and Speech Center, and is also a TV host and medical expert at Real TV and Real FM 107 radio.
He completed his education in Turkey, specializing in anesthesiology, and gained professional experience working in well-established hospitals across the country. After returning to Azerbaijan, he continued his work in media and social projects, participating in various initiatives at Loqos and Real TV.
Vasif Akifli is also widely recognized for his social activities. He worked for a period in a leadership role at a children’s shelter, focusing on protecting children’s rights and providing social support. His social project “There Are No чужих Children” (“No Child is a Stranger”) won first place in an international competition involving participants from 26 countries.
In 2023, following the Kahramanmaraş earthquake in Turkey, he took part in humanitarian and medical aid efforts in the affected regions as part of volunteer healthcare teams.
He also serves as the Executive Director of the Loqos Day Care and Social Support Center, established by the founder of the Loqos Center, Tarana Pashayeva, in memory of the late Member of Parliament Ganira Pashayeva.
In his professional work, Vasif Akifli combines media, psychology, and social services, continuing to contribute to society through educational projects and social initiatives.
