Sensory Integration

What is this service?

Sensory Integration is the brain’s ability to process information from touch, movement, gravity, vision, hearing, taste and smell. When this process works atypically, a child develops behavioural, learning and attention problems. LOQOS SI therapists, based on the Jean Ayres method, identify each child’s sensory profile.

Who needs sensory integration?

• Autism Spectrum|Children with hyper/hypo sensory sensitivity, sensory seeking.|2–14 years

• Sensory Profile|Sensory profile is prepared through standardized questionnaires and clinical observation.
• Goals|Priorities are set together with the parent — which daily activity takes precedence.
• Play-Based Sessions|Structured play sessions with various sensory equipment in the therapy room.
• Parent Training|Parents are taught home program, sensory diet, strategic methods.
