Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is not about a “naughty” child. It is a brain feature that makes it harder to put a pause between impulse and action, to hold attention on something boring and to finish what was started. Without support these children often pick up bad grades, peer conflict and the message that they “don’t try” — when in fact they try harder than it looks.
At LOQOS we offer an integrated programme: accurate assessment, behaviour work with the child, parent training and, where needed, coordination with school. The approach follows international guidelines (NICE, AAP), adapted for local schools and culture.
01Who this is for
Impulsivity — acts before thinking
Attention difficulty on long or boring tasks
Hyperactivity — constant motion, noise
Trouble organising and planning
Emotional swings
Trouble with peers and teachers
A child with ADHD doesn’t “not want to” — they can’t in these conditions. Our job is to change the conditions and teach them to work with themselves.
02How we work
We start with a full assessment and an individual profile. Then a 3–6 month programme: attention and self-regulation training with the child, evidence-based parent training and, for school-age children, a meeting with the teacher.
In parallel, work on self-esteem — by school age these children have usually collected a lot of negative feedback. We help rebuild “I can do this”.
