Neuropsychology looks at how the child’s brain supports learning, attention, memory, self-control and behaviour. When a child struggles to learn, focus, manage impulses or remember — the reason is often not “laziness” or character, but that some underlying functions haven’t yet matured or have matured unevenly.
We run a thorough assessment, build an individual profile and design a sensorimotor and cognitive correction programme. The backbone is A.R. Luria and the A.V. Semenovich school, adapted for contemporary practice.
01Who this is for
Difficulty with reading, writing, counting not tied to teaching
Attention and instruction-holding problems
High fatigue, quick disengagement in lessons
Motor clumsiness, balance and spatial issues
Memory and sequencing difficulties
Impulsivity, poor self-regulation
The child’s brain is plastic. The right load at the right time often shifts the trajectory for years to come.
02How we work
We start with a detailed assessment (2–3 meetings), ending in a report with strengths and deficits. Then an individual programme: sensorimotor exercises, cognitive tasks and play blocks.
Monthly meetings with parents are required, with daily home tasks (5–10 min) and progress monitoring every 2 months.
03Methods
Sensorimotor correctioncore movement programmes.
Interhemispheric workright-left coordination.
Cognitive trainingattention, memory, planning.
Self-regulation workbreathing, rhythm.
Play protocolscognitive tasks in a game wrapper.
Neurogymnasticsshort daily sets.
04What you get
Holds instructions better
Less fatigue at school
Better handwriting, reading, counting
Baseline self-regulation
Confidence in academic tasks
Parents get practical daily tools
05What a session looks like
Sessions: 45–60 minutes, typically twice weekly.
Length and formatProgramme: 3–9 months depending on profile.

06Frequently asked
Does this replace school prep?
No. Neuropsychology works on the foundations any learning is built on.
Are daily home tasks needed?
Short ones, yes. 5–10 min daily beats 40 min once a week.
From what age?
Age 5 is a key entry point; we also work with 4-year-olds, school-age children and teens.
How is this different from tutoring?
A tutor teaches skills. A neuropsychologist works on the brain functions those skills rest on.
